Salisbury: For a more detailed description check out http://bikevmb.com/trail/walking-purchase-park-salisbury. The trail system here is maintained by the Valley Mountain Bikers club and has been featured in Bike Magazine and has hosted it's first race last season (Endurorama). This park also has the appeal of being open after dark, until 10:00pm, so there is no excuse not to check out these trails! South Mountain Emmaus: South Mountain Emmaus is another little gem in the area featuring some very demanding terrain with sharp elevation changes. The Valley Mountain Bikers have a little more information regarding these trails, which can be found here http://bikevmb.com/trail/south-mountain-emmaus-wildlands-conservancy. South Mountain-Lehigh: The trails at Lehigh offer nearly 20 miles of trails which vary from fast and flowy to super rocky and technical. These trails have been used to host collegiate races run by the Lehigh University cycling club which have included cross country, downhill, and super-d style courses. |
